Migraines
Cannabis use is one of the most effective treatments for chronic, debilitating migraine attacks. Sufferers report that cannabis buds administered with a vaporizer give sustained relief within a very short period of time.
Cannabis was highly regarded as a treatment for migraine in the 19th century

Cannabinoid System in Pain Control and for the Management of Acute and Chronic Pain
“Historically, cannabis was prescribed for its management (Migraine) in the early 20th century. At present, the antimigraine properties of cannabis have been recognised and there are studies that affirm that the pain relief it produces is comparable, or better than, that achieved with ergotamine and aspirin. The most effective route of administration is by inhalation because of its rapid action. The antiemetic and vasodilator properties of cannabinoid compounds are additional benefits that support its use as an alternative medication in migraine refractory to conventional therapy”

Effects of anandamide in migraine
“By combining our data with the findings available from the literature, we can hypothesize that a dysfunction of the endocannabinoid system may contribute to the development of migraine attacks and that a specific pharmacological modulation of CB1 and CB2 receptors may be useful for the treatment of migraine pain, without deleterious effects, as well as of specific associated symptoms (nausea, in primis)

Multiple Sclerosis
Studies show that even a low dosage of 5mg per day of THC produces relief from symptoms.
According to clinical trial data published in the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry:
“The oral administration of cannabis extracts significantly reduces muscle stiffness in patients with MS.”

In clinical trials, it has been shown that cannabinoids can effectively treat pain related to MS, however, in animal experiments reductions in the inflammatory response in the brain and spinal cord have also been recorded.

Cannabis – Multiple Sclerosis: Effects on specific immune parameters
“Prevalence of medicinal Cannabis use by individuals with MS is estimated at 14% in Nova Scotia, 17% in Spain and 22% in the UK”

Cannabinoid Modulation of Neuro-inflammatory Disorders
Due to its intriguing anti-inflammatory effects, cannabinoid compounds have been tested in animal models of MS as a supportive treatment for symptoms like spasticity and tremor, which are common in patients with MS. Lyman et al demonstrated that animals pre-treated with Δ9 -THC displayed a delay in the onset of the symptoms and a reduction in severity when EAE was subsequently induced. In studies using synthetic cannabinoids, dexanabinol (HU- 211) was capable to reduce inflammation and EAE score”
